EN24 (Quenched & Tempered)
EN24 (817M40) Q&T: The High-Performance Nickel Alloy. Exceptional tensile strength and shock resistance for the most demanding builds.

EN24 (Quenched & Tempered)
EN24 is a high-grade nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy steel. When supplied in the Quenched and Tempered condition (usually "T" or "U" condition), it offers a rare combination of high tensile strength and excellent ductility.
Chemical Composition | Percentage % |
|---|---|

Industrial Applications & Versatility
Originally developed for the automotive and machine tool sectors,
the use of EN24T has expanded into diverse heavy industries.
Its superior strength-to-weight ratio and fatigue resistance make it ideal for:
Heavy Machinery: Components for cranes, locomotives, rolling mills, and coal-cutting equipment.
Precision Tooling: Die bolsters, racks, pinions, and hot stamping dies for aluminum and steel.
Molding Technology: Widely utilized in the plastic and rubber industries for mold bases, hob retaining rings, and specialized pins.
Transmission: High-stress gears, spindles, and drive shafts.
Precision Supply & Custom Specifications
We maintain a robust stock of EN24 in various conditions, including Bright Drawn and Black Hot Rolled finishes.
To meet your specific manufacturing requirements, our facility offers precision sawing for
one-off prototypes or high-volume production runs. We also supply material in the Quenched and Tempered (QT) condition for immediate use in high-hardness applications.
Round Bars: Standard diameters available from 10mm to 550mm.
EN24 QT (Quenched & Tempered): Specialized diameters from 30mm to 605mm.
Steel Sheets & Plates: Thicknesses available from 50mm to 330mm.
